The Website also stated " It works by selecting potential ortholog matches from a reference database of amino acid sequences, then using these matches to calculate a lineage probability index LPI score for each genome protein. One unique and powerful feature of the DarkHorse HGT Candidate database is the opportunity to explore the phyl." The website's header had HGT as the most important keyword. It was followed by horizontal gene transfer, LGT, and lateral gene transfer which isn't as ranked as highly as HGT.
